At GradSchule, we firmly believe that Liberal Arts & Sciences are a necessary engagement for generating mindful and cutting edge scholarship, policies, and innovations. Although Liberal Arts & Sciences has gained currency in India in the recent decades, the tradition of interdisciplinary studying is not new. Across histories and cultures, the ruler is imagined to be rounded: not just good at warmanship, but also versed in balancing the public interest, maintaining the economy, understanding cultural rituals, strengthening community bonds, seeking and being accountable for their actions among others.In today’s world, where we are all trapped in a quicksand of social, political, economic, and climate distress, it is important to create holistic policies and scholarship that enable a sustainable planet, country, and cities. Merely resolving some instrumental issues is not enough, if we don’t consider the long term implications of short-term plans. It is for tackling such global, intersectional challenges that Liberal Arts & Sciences cannot be simply dismissed as a “fallback option” to STEM.

Mission

GradSchule is founded on the passion to foster intellectual curiosity and personal growth among students from the beginning of their college journeys, and not just as an afterthought. Our mission is to provide a supportive network to aspiring students who don’t just want to get into the prestigious liberal arts & sciences programmes, but are also invested in expanding their horizons as they tread on this journey.Through regular one-on-one meetings, feedback system, and demonstrative writing and research, we aim to build the student’s strengths. For us, they are not just transferable skills, they are essential knowledge that one must work with simultaneously to create an edge in today’s competitive market. GradSchule is committed to empowering students in achieving their full potential through gaining admission and becoming success stories in these prestigious liberal education programmes/institutions.
